It features a 3D headrest, multi-directional armrests, a padded seat, and a recline of up to 150°, combining ergonomics, freedom of movement, and comfort.
Uniform three-dimensional contact
The Zen chair’s backrest is designed to maintain consistent contact with the different areas of the back. Its three-dimensional support adapts to the lumbar region, sacrum, and back of the hips, helping to distribute pressure more evenly while the user is seated. The lumbar support and its pivot point move in a coordinated manner, allowing the backrest to continue supporting the back when changing posture or reclining. This mechanism maintains support from the L1–L5 lumbar vertebrae down to the sacral area, preventing the lower back from being left unsupported.
Smart mechanism with up to 150° recline
Zen features an intelligent mechanism that automatically balances the recline resistance according to the user’s weight. This eliminates the need for complicated manual adjustments to achieve smooth, controlled movement when reclining. The backrest can be positioned from approximately 90° to 150°, offering different options for working, adopting a more relaxed posture, or resting during a break. The mechanism has four locking positions, making it easy to select the most suitable angle for each point in the working day.
Adjustable 3D armrests and headrest
The armrests offer a high degree of adjustability to suit different tasks and postures. They can be adjusted in height, moved forwards or backwards and rotated 180° outwards and 40° inwards. This wide range of rotation allows the arms to be positioned closer to the body when working with a keyboard and mouse, opened out for other activities, or moved aside when greater freedom of movement is required. The 3D headrest can be adjusted in height and tilted up to 85°. These adjustments allow it to be positioned at head height and angled to provide more precise support for the neck.
