Soma S70
Ergonomic office chair Soma S70 with adjustable lumbar support
Characteristics
Extendable footrest
Allows you to stretch your legs and keep your feet elevated in a reclined position, helping to support blood circulation and relaxation.
Folding armrests
This type of armrest, designed specifically for gaming chairs, gives the user greater freedom of movement by folding upwards and avoiding contact with the elbows while playing. It also makes cleaning and maintenance easier, as the chair takes up less space.
Headrest
Using a headrest is highly recommended, as it helps support the upper back and neck area without putting the spine under excessive strain. Adding a headrest provides a more complete sitting position, as the backrest is long enough to support the whole body.
Lumbar support
Lumbar adjustment allows you to adjust the pressure of the backrest on the lower back. Lumbar injuries are one of the most common work-related health problems, so it is advisable to choose a chair with this type of adjustment, allowing more natural support that follows the curve of the back.
Injected foam
Injected foam is commonly used in sports car seats and aircraft seats because it offers superior performance compared with conventional foam. Its main advantage is that it is resistant to deformation and maintains its shape and properties over time, unlike traditional foam, which gradually loses elasticity with use. Injected foam is recommended for professional chairs intended for intensive use.
Synchron Plus mechanism
This is one of the most advanced mechanisms on the market and is recommended by ergonomics specialists. The seat and backrest adapt to your movements in a synchronised and automatic way. When the backrest tilts forwards or backwards, the seat tilt also adjusts automatically at the same time, helping to achieve a dynamic posture. A safety anti-return system prevents sudden impacts.
Mesh
Mesh chairs are breathable and highly recommended for warm environments. There is a growing trend in the office sector towards this type of chair, as they do not accumulate dust or dirt and are easier to clean than traditional chairs.
Daily use: 8 hours
Thanks to its design and features, this chair is suitable for daily use of more than 8 hours. It is ideal for professional and intensive use, and can also be used comfortably at home during long working days.
Adaptive ergonomics for a more natural posture
Soma S70 incorporates adjustments that adapt to all types of users , offering a more natural and comfortable position at the desk. Its reduced seat height, adjustable depth and wraparound lumbar support provide a better fit for the legs, hips and back. The design has been developed with particular consideration for women’s ergonomics, although its extensive adjustment options allow it to be used comfortably by any user whose proportions suit the chair.
Wraparound lumbar support
One of the most interesting features of the Soma S70 is its independent lumbar support, designed to maintain more precise contact with the lower back. It can be adjusted by approximately 6 cm in height, while its sides offer up to 20° of inward flex, allowing the support to follow the lumbar region more naturally instead of remaining completely rigid. Its wraparound shape gently embraces both sides of the waist and distributes support over a wide surface area, providing a comfortable feeling of support during long working hours. This system works in conjunction with the backrest, which is divided into two zones, creating different contact points and allowing the back to retain a degree of freedom of movement.
Adjustable headrest and armrests
Upper-body support can also be precisely customized. The adjustable headrest allows you to change its height, move it forwards or backwards, and adjust its angle to find a comfortable position both while working and reclining. Its vertical adjustment range is approximately 17 cm, while the mechanism allows tilting and rotation to adapt to different head and neck positions. The 3-way adjustable armrests allow you to adjust their height and angle and can also be flipped up. This feature is particularly useful for sitting closer to the desk, enjoying greater freedom of movement to the sides, or storing the chair under the desk when not in use.
Adjustable seat, reclining backrest and footrest
Soma S70 is designed to make it easier to change posture throughout the day. The seat features depth adjustment, allowing you to modify the support area beneath the thighs and achieve a more suitable position based on leg length. Its high-resilience foam padding provides a soft and comfortable sitting experience, specially designed for extended periods of sitting. When it is time to change posture, the backrest can be reclined and locked in different positions, reaching an angle of up to approximately 135°, depending on the model configuration. It also features an integrated extendable footrest, allowing you to support your legs and enjoy a much more relaxed posture during short breaks.
