Characteristics

Integrated headrest

Integrated headrest

Chairs with an integrated headrest offer the advantages of a headrest while keeping it built into the backrest itself. The use of a headrest is highly recommended, especially for taller users, as it helps support the upper back and neck area without putting the spine under excessive strain.

Aluminium base

Aluminium base

Aluminium bases are commonly used in high-end chairs. Aluminium is a strong, high-quality material and much lighter than iron, making it easier to move the chair while still offering very high levels of strength and durability. They should not be confused with simpler metal bases.

Relax mechanism

Relax mechanism

The pivot point is positioned slightly forward from the chair's natural axis, so when the chair tilts towards the front edge of the seat, it remains stable. The advantage of this mechanism is that, when the chair reclines backwards, the feet stay in contact with the floor while the body moves into a relaxed position. This helps maintain good circulation in the leg area.

Upholstered armrests

Upholstered armrests

Padded armrests increase the feeling of comfort and are much more pleasant and warm to rest on. Equipping a chair with armrests also helps reduce tension in the elbows, shoulder blades and back.

Synthetic leather

Synthetic leather

Synthetic leather is a material designed to imitate genuine leather. There have been significant technical advances in this field in recent years, resulting in increasingly softer and more durable materials. Its main advantages are price, durability and ease of cleaning.
