Its rounded base allows you to rock and tilt gently in any direction, promoting a more active posture while you work. The adjustable height, padded seat and compact design make it suitable for use with traditional desks, height-adjustable desks, counters or informal meeting areas.
Moves with you
Giro features a curved base that allows for gentle rocking movements while the user remains seated. Unlike a completely static seat, the stool follows the body’s natural movements and makes it easy to change position continuously throughout the working day. Its multidirectional tilt allows the user to turn towards different areas of the desk without having to stand up or move the entire stool. This system helps prevent a rigid posture and promotes a more dynamic way of sitting, which is particularly useful at workstations where users alternate between different tasks.
Non-slip base for safe movement
The base is designed to allow rocking without compromising stability. The underside features a non-slip rubber surface that keeps the stool firmly grounded while the user leans or shifts position. This weighted base helps control movement and enables smooth, safe 360° tilting. The stool returns to a stable position when the user re-centres their body, providing a sense of control throughout the movement.
Height adjustable for sitting or standing work
The stool height can be adjusted continuously to suit different users, desks and ways of working. The lever located under the seat makes it easy to raise or lower the stool until a comfortable position is reached, with no tools or complicated adjustments required. Its wide adjustment range allows Giro to be used with both conventional desks and height-adjustable desks. In a low position, it functions as a compact office stool, while the higher positions support semi-seated working, taking some of the body’s weight without requiring a fully seated posture.
