Ergonomic Office Chair Gemini, 4D Armrests and Lumbar Support
Characteristics
24 hours
High-resistance chair designed for long working days and continuous use. Ideal for workstations where people work many hours a day in consecutive shifts. It offers optimal durability and comfort during extended use.
4D armrests
This type of armrest is found only on high-end ergonomic chairs and offers full adjustment in height, width, angle and depth.
Integrated headrest
Chairs with an integrated headrest offer the advantages of a headrest while keeping it built into the backrest itself. The use of a headrest is highly recommended, especially for taller users, as it helps support the upper back and neck area without putting the spine under excessive strain.
Seat depth adjustment
This feature allows the seat depth to be adjusted to the length of each user's legs, helping to achieve a more comfortable and healthier posture while working. This type of mechanism is commonly used in high-end ergonomic chairs.
Aluminium base
Aluminium bases are commonly used in high-end chairs. Aluminium is a strong, high-quality material and much lighter than iron, making it easier to move the chair while still offering very high levels of strength and durability. They should not be confused with simpler metal bases.
Synchro mechanism
This type of mechanism is the one most recommended by ergonomics specialists for intensive use of more than 8 hours. The seat and backrest adapt to your movements in a synchronised and automatic way. When the backrest tilts forwards or backwards, the seat tilt also adjusts automatically at the same time, helping to achieve an ideal posture. A safety anti-return system prevents sudden impacts.
Lumbar support adjustable in height and intensity
The Gemini ergonomic chair is designed to provide a high level of comfort and adaptability throughout the working day. The backrest features flexible lumbar support that adapts comfortably to the lower back. It can be adjusted vertically to position it at the right height and offers three intensity levels, allowing the forward or backward pressure to be adjusted. This dual adjustment makes it easier to achieve a more personalised posture and helps maintain consistent support during daily work.
Spring seat with adjustable depth
The seat combines foam with an internal spring structure that provides a more responsive, even and comfortable feel. Its design distributes pressure more effectively and offers stable support during prolonged periods of use. It also features a sliding mechanism with up to 5 cm of depth adjustment, allowing the seat to adapt to users of different heights and improving leg support.
4D armrests and adjustable headrest
The 4D armrests can be adjusted in height, width, depth and angle to find a comfortable position for different tasks. This level of adjustment helps support the forearms correctly and reduce tension in the shoulders and arms. The headrest can also be adjusted in height to suit the position of the head and provide more comfortable support for the neck.
Reclining mechanism with 4 locking positions
The Gemini chair allows the backrest to recline and lock in four different positions, making it easy to switch between a more upright working posture and a more relaxed position. Depending on the version, it may feature a quick-adjustment mechanism or a system that automatically adapts the reclining resistance to the user’s weight. This provides a more natural movement and makes it easy to adjust the chair throughout the working day.
